Dear members of the Percy Main Cricket Club, St. John's Green, Percy Main, North Shields, Tyne & Wear, NE29 6HE.
I would like to express our gratitude to the club for the kind support they have provided for England Cricket Association for the Deaf.
Over the last few years, there have been competitive friendly matches between the two sides and the generous gesture from Percy Main to allow ECAD's squad to use their ground for a practise match and fielding drills in May 2006.
Percy Main CC has played a huge part to help prepare our England cricket deaf team for a number of international series including the Deaf Ashes 2004, India World Cup 2005 and the home international series between England and Pakistan 2006.
The facilities are second to none which includes the clubhouse, the playing arena, teas and least of all, the infamous Kanon Ball. The ECAD playing members have very find memories of the fielding drills!!

The picture shows the beautiful surroundings at Percy Main CC
This acknowledgement is published on the ECAD website to express our gratitude of the cricket club and I look forward to many more future fixtures between ECAD and Percy Main CC.
Yours in sport
