Dear fellow deaf cricketers, the details have been finalized for the Cricket Deaf National Super 4 Cup Day!!

Due to ground unavailability /drop-outs, short notice and forecast of bad weather, the National Super 4 Cup Day has been re-arranged to an Indoor Tournament.

Cricket National Deaf Super 4 Cup Day

What?

All deaf cricketers from all levels, all ages, are invited to play in an Indoor Super 4 cricket tournament. It is a good opportunity to find out about deaf cricket and meet other fellow deaf cricket players as well as playing.

Where?

Edgbaston Cricket Centre, Warwickshire County Cricket Club, Edgbaston Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B5 7QU. Tel: 0121-446-3633

When?

Sunday 7 th October 2007 - 10.45am meet, NO LATER

How to enter?

Email to Lucy Riding at secretaryecad@hotmail.co.uk , request for registration form, complete it, sign it and return it before Wednesday 3rd October 2007 to confirm you are playing . Lucy will provide her address.

How much?

£5 per player (Pay cash before the 1 st match)

How many teams?

The teams will be made up on the day but it will consist of a 'Super 4' tournament.

Number of matches?

Each team will play 3 matches each with 2 pitches available. There will be a final at the end of the day. Each match will last around 1 hour. The Super 4 Cup Day is expected to end around 5.30pm

Refreshments?

It is advised that players bring their own food.

Kit required?

Bring your whites and all your cricket equipment. There will be no spare equipment available. Footwear: Players are advised to wear trainers or rubbers .

Awards:

There will be awards to the winning captain, best batsman, bowler and fielder of the tournament.

Officials:

There will be a BSL interpreter, physio, child protection officer, qualified coaches, scorers, umpires and officials from ECAD.
